Privacy notice

Data we process

• Account identity and contact data shared by Apple or Google when you sign in.
• Financial information you enter: expenses, income, budgets, categories, cards without banking credentials, commitments, and plans.
• Content you provide directly: AI Agent PRO messages, conversational-capture text, receipt photos, and statement PDFs you choose to submit.
• Financial context derived from your records when you use AI: income, expenses, budgets, categories, commitments, goals, planned purchases, historical summaries and, if configured, preferred name, age range, goal, and income type.
• Purchases: product, subscription status, and transaction references verified with Apple.
• Product and diagnostic events from a closed event list. Telemetry intentionally excludes amounts, merchants, and free-form financial text.

Cuantia does not request bank credentials, location, contacts, or advertising identifiers. We do not sell personal data or track you across apps or websites.

Purposes

We use data to operate and sync your account, calculate indicators, show movements and plans, perform requested features, verify Cuantia PRO, prevent abuse, secure the service, and provide support. AI content is processed only after informed consent, which you can withdraw in Settings.

Processing by OpenAI

When you grant permission and request an artificial-intelligence feature, Cuantia sends OpenAI, L.L.C. (OpenAI API) only the data needed for that request:

• For chat: your question, up to 12 recent messages, and the financial context described above. OpenAI uses it to generate an answer about your data.
• For conversational capture: the text you enter and category names needed to interpret an expense or income.
• For receipts and documents: the receipt photo or images of statement pages you choose to process. They may contain names, merchants, amounts, dates, and other printed financial data.

Cuantia makes these calls from its server, configures each response not to be stored as API history, and does not enable OpenAI external tools. OpenAI does not use API content to train its models unless a customer voluntarily opts in; Cuantia does not participate. Under standard configuration, OpenAI may retain content in abuse-prevention logs for up to 30 days and, exceptionally, longer when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect its services or a third party.

OpenAI processes information in the United States and locations where its subprocessors operate. Cuantia does not disclose this data to OpenAI for advertising, tracking, or sale. See the OpenAI API data controls.

Service providers and transfers

We disclose only what is necessary to providers operating authentication, Apple services, infrastructure, storage and, with your permission, OpenAI. We require OpenAI and every other third party receiving personal data to provide the same or equivalent protection described in this notice and to act only to deliver the service. Some processing may occur outside Mexico. We do not disclose data to advertisers or data brokers.

Retention and deletion

We retain your account while active. Cuantia does not keep an additional server-side history of OpenAI responses; the visible chat history is stored on your device. OpenAI applies the safety retention described above. You can delete your account directly in Settings, which starts deletion of the account and its financial data. Minimal records may be retained for a limited time when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Apple separately manages subscription billing records.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection; withdraw AI consent; or ask how your data is used. Email hola@cuantia-app.com with your name, account email, requested right, a clear description, and a reply method. We may request reasonable identity verification. Data export and account deletion are also available in Settings.

Security, children, and changes

We use account/workspace isolation, encryption in transit, Keychain credentials, and access controls. No system is infallible. Cuantia is not directed to children under 13. Material updates will be posted here and, when appropriate, communicated in the app or presented for renewed consent.
